My 8 yr old loves this book! She says, "It's so fun!" This book allows my daughter to learn or reinforce what she has learned in history and it gives her an excellent outlet for her "creative genius". Definitely a must have in any homeschoolers library.

Our family loves the Draw Write Now books so when I saw that they have a series with History thrown in I immediately bought the entire series. It has not disappointed me. Love the series as it allows my children to learn to draw on their own (we are homeschoolers) at a very affordable cost!

I like this series of books generally, but have spotted a factual error in the sample "slide" of the Middle Ages copywork. The feudal system did not originate with William the Conqueror, who in any event lived in the 11th century, not the 800s. That's a pretty egregious error, and I would not want my child copying a basic historical mistake.
Nice series, but I hope these things get fact-checked before printing.

Our son has enjoyed using this book along with his regular ancient history text. It has good directions for the drawings and makes for a fun addition to history.

What a great idea! These books make history and art come alive for my kids. My reluctant artist has truly come alive after seeing these step-by-step instructions. He is continually drawing knights and castles and Robin Hood -- he is so excited. Great product
