SnapplesCharlotte, NCAge: 45-54Gender: Female5 Stars Out Of 5Very nice Christian history presentation on audioJuly 11, 2013SnapplesCharlotte, NCAge: 45-54Gender: FemaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5All of us, my husband and elementary aged boys included, are really enjoying this program. We are listening to an audio bible and when ready we follow with this cd. There is plentiful information and details that need to be cited are cited right in the verbal presentation. I like that my children are receiving a slightly informal teaching (Waring laughs and is easy going) with detailed history telling along with logical discussion or points for critical thinking. This introduces material that I never covered in grade school, college, travel or personal pursuits. I'm very happy with this history CD. We do not use the workbooks...my boys do not sit down long enough to complete written work other than math.

katiebIdahoAge: 35-44Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Great!December 15, 2010katiebIdahoAge: 35-44Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Wow! This CD set came with my son's curriculum, and I pretty much groaned when I saw we would have to listen to a 'boring' history CD...But how wrong I was!! Diana Waring REALLY makes history so interesting----her enthusiasm for her love of history shines through with this product and hence my older daughter also listens in to Diana tell us about Ancient history. She also sounds a lot like my aunt---so we call it our Aunt B History. I highly recommend this as a great addition to any history program!!

MrsJeffS5 Stars Out Of 5love them!March 11, 2013MrsJeffSQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5Our daughter, who does not usually like history, listened to all of these tapes back to back on her own initiative because she liked them so well. Our oldest son used to listen to the tapes (thus I ordered the DVD's here) while he was folding laundry so you know they have to be good!;)
