James: Mercy Triumphs - Leader Kit by Beth Moore helps a leader facilitate this women's Bible study experience and contains all that is needed to conduct the 7 weeks of small group time. James, Jesus' own brother, started out as a skeptic. See how one glimpse of the resurrected Savior turned an unbeliever into a disciple. Bible scholars compare James to the prophet Amos. In other ways, James more closely resembles the Book of Proverbs than any other New Testament book. Topics in this study include: joy, hardship, faith, reversal of fortunes for rich and poor, wisdom, gifts from above, single-mindedness, the dangers of the tongue, humility, and prayer. Includes teaching DVDs, a Member Book, and a Leader Guide. 8 video sessions with 7 weeks of print study.

As always I am a different person after I study with Beth Moore. The revelation of God the Holy Spirit through these Bible studies is well worth the physical cost. She brings women together around the word to grow and relate and what could be better than that!

Excellent study....i am in preparation to teach this one by Beth...Format is good and consistant with others she has done. Had to use a dictionary alot...may be written on a higher level than usual...That may discourage participants. I would pray that somehow the price could be reduced, for instance I have to purchase all life way kits on my own...not all churches pay the cost. Just a prayerful thought.

In this study Beth presents a new choice in her Bible Studies. With James, the participant has the choice of "levels" of study and this is great for use with a medium to large group. Not everyone can devote the same amount of study time but everyone wants to participate in some capicity and this study provides that choice.

We have a normal study 8 to 10. We started this study with 33! Beth's presentation is captivating, interesting and most of all, challenging. She challenges us to get into the Bible message and in doing so we see our lives changed. Most of our members really appreciate the benefits of in depth Bible study led by such an interesting leader.

I've watched the first 3 DVD sessions and they are excellent and challenging. I really appreciate the 5 levels of study offered in "James: Mercy Triumphs". Especially Amanda's in-depth sections and the challenge to handwrite the book of James and then memorize it.
