This book is now 9 years old and the information is somewhat helpful, but there are much more helpful books available. It would not be useful for a homeschooling parent and I disagreed with many of the assertions that Bennet makes about various topics. One example is what he says about institutional daycare and preschool. There are many regulations on home daycares--they are not unregulated as he asserts. That is only one example, but there were many others.I would recommend that you keep looking for a book that would help you more and be more accurate.
