I purchased this video for several reasons..to give my granddaughter encouragement to take up an instrument and I have always liked Amy Grant. Being this video is offered at a christian book site with a top Christian singer, I assumed it would be safe to watch with my granddaughter. It started out good but once the male actor came into the story, his cursing made me turn it off immediately. It was a disappointment.

We had never seen Amy Grant in a movie . . . she was actually not a bad actress. Too bad she didn't sing at all in the movie. However, the music was pretty good. The plot was totally predictable . . . a "feel good" movie and ending.

My family is always looking for videos to watch that are acceptable for the entire family. I thought that purchasing one from a Christian bookstore would be a safe option. We were disappointed that this film contained a number of swear words. The language did not serve any purpose.

I thought it had a nice story line and that the acting, especially by Amy Grant, was superb. A good movie for just about anyone to watch.

This made for TV-type-of-movie, is a story about a blind teacher, who is also an exceptional musician. She falls "in love" with arrogant "Prince Charming," all while her best friend, and widower, "Steady Eddy" looks on with care and concern, and possibly envy. The plot is predictable, the acting mediocre, and the content is overall clean, with the exception of a some mild language - a few swears. However, due to the content, I would only recommend this movie for adults and older teens, due to the relationship and dating issues. Don't let Amy Grant's presence make you think that this is a Christian movie for the whole family. It's not. This is more of a secular movie that might be seen on The Hallmark Channel. Even though this movie is more moral than most movies that Hollywood puts out these days, I'm a little surprised to find it on CBD.

Not only a good story and keeps your attention, it shares/teaches valuable life lessons about people who "care" only for thier own gain and people who truly care for the needs of others. Inspirational in that it illustrates that we ALL have something of value to give to others in spite of what we may see as our "handicaps"!

This movie deals with some very special issues close to my heart. Blindness and playing the cello. The music is also well done. Being a cellist, I really can not watch while the cello is being "played" because I know the bowing isn't right, etc. HOWEVER, Amy Grant does a superb job of "being blind" and playing the cello.

This video was great. I an studying the living in love with Jesus and this movie has parallels of how we miss out and we are blind to what is right in front of us.

My family watched the film together and everyone enjoyed it--my husband, myself and my children. It touched each of our hearts. Some films only touch a specific audience. I think this was one goes beyond that.

I enjoyed the story and the ending. I was disappointed to find an offensive word. I thought the actors portrayed their characters well. Good lessons about pressing past what one might think is their limit.
