Steeple Hill Books The Lawman's Christmas Wish

Widow Amy James has dozens of prospective suitors in Treasure Creek, Alaska, but most of them are after the treasure buried on her property. Only police chief Reed Truscott promised her late husband he's take care of her and her sons. Too bad his honorable marriage proposal is about obligation and not love. Or is it?

This shows that people of character can be out there. Protection and honor are the theme. However trust and romance are there as well.

A husband lost by circumstances of the tough family business, leaves a woman to raise her two sons alone. But in a small town in Alaska it doesn't go unnoticed and challenged by the single men. A family friend wants to help and protect her from treasure hunters but she thinks its on the emotion of pity, not love.
Great book, and characters that you can see and understand.

I really enjoyed the book. I love the town of Treasure Creek. I appreciate the focus on the Lord and the message of salvation in each book.
