Steeple Hill Books Mistletoe Matchmaker

Pet store owner Molly Kent can't help smiling when Grant Roderick chases his aunt's poodle into her shop. Grant, who's pet-sitting, doesn't know much about dogs and welcomes Molly's offer of help. Little does Grant know that Molly's also a matchmaker-not that he's looking for love. Yet the more time they spend together, the more Molly wonders if Grant may be her perfect match. But how can she get involved with a workaholic after being raised by one? They'll both have to put their trust in God if they want to find happiness for the holidays.

Though I myself only fell in love with this book by it's beautiful cover that I just wanted to set on my dresser to show the world to, I bought it for my Mom who fell in love with it because of the beautiful story.
She hasn't sat down and read a joy read in such a long time because she is extremely busy but she did manage to find the time to read this. Actually, after reading it she told me that time and everything else stopped for her after reading the first page.
Yes, my Mom loved it and is excited to get it back sometime next year to reread when the book is finally passed back to us. (Yes, the book is on vacation visiting all our friends and family's homes.) She loved the characters and the whole plot to the story. She also loved it because it seemed real to her and she loved the Christmas thrills she got because of it. She rated it a 5 on the 1 to 5 scale and said it is a must read! In other words, she totally recommends it. Note: She wouldn't tell me she loved something even if I bought it for her. And, she most definitively wouldn't read it if she thought it was a waste of her fact, she has a box labeled, "For When I Retire." There are about a dozen books I have given her sitting in there. All of them she got bored from reading after the first few pages. Sad but true. Oh well, at least I won't have to worry about her wanting to retire any time soon.
