Movie is exciting and suspenseful as Mandie and her friends persevere despite many trials. Mandie is the one who believes that the endeavor will be successful and encourages others to press on and not give up. She shows natural leadership abilities of many youth today who need encouragement to stay positive and believe in your dreams.

I purchased this for my 9 year old. She loves it and so does her friends. It's adventurous without being scarey. It has encouraged "playtime" to include another time period. My daughter is now interested in reading the Mandie series as well. We're looking forward to more Mandie movies.

I loved the movie Mandie and the secret tunnel and so I just had to get the second one of Mandie and the Cherokee treasure. These were really good family shows. There is not a kid in our household and we as adults thought it was a really cute wholesome show. We need more movies like this one. It was easy watching and just plain fun.

This was a sad film compared to the last one! Terrible acting, nothing like the book, and overall a complete mess-up. When they ride in the miners cart they are not even on the tracks! This was a sad film. :(

Our family enjoyed this 2nd Mandie movie. It is good entertainment the whole family can enjoy. We really enjoy the commical areas, especially the bloopers. I have noticed that there is another Mandie movie to be released next fall. I hope they will continue to make many more of these.

Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure is a great movie for the whole family! I have a 10-year old girl and a 7-year-old boy, and they both like to regularly watch this movie and the first one--Mandie and the Secret Tunnel.
My kids really like the adventure and mystery in Mandie and the Cherokee Treasure. They love the riddles and the chase scenes. My daughter admires Mandie’s independent and adventurous spirit, and my son thinks Joe is cool. They both laugh at the antics of Gaynelle Snow and Bayne Locke, particularly Locke’s humorously exaggerated word pronunciations.
Personally, I enjoyed seeing the redemption of (no spoiler alert needed) one of the characters. This character experienced a heart change that was believable and powerful, and the redemption was rewarded with forgiveness. The themes in this movie provide some meaningful conversation starters with kids.

As a parent, it’s great finding a movie with the plot and production quality that holds my kids’ attention while communicating valuable themes with layers that multiple ages can grasp and connect with.
My kids and I are looking forward to the third movie in the Mandie series!

The Mandie books were my 29 year old daughters favorite books growing up. I was glad to see they are now being made into movies. I know she will be excited when she opens them on Christmas morning.
