The Shofar was very pretty. The colors are rich and polished. I did put a thin coat of olive oil on it to shine it back up after I cleaned it out some more. They all come with a animal smell to them. I rinsed it out with vinegar. That didn't help much so I used some fabric freshener stuff like febreeze (generic) that I had and added some water and let it soak. Then scrubbed out the inside with a bottle brush and cleaned out as far as I could reach with it. Try not to get water and products on the outside as it can take the polished finish off and mark up the exterior. Otherwise I think the neighbors probably think there is a train coming when I practice on the back porch.
