BMG The Sword, DVD

When Gaul is invaded and Garron's father is called to fight, the teenaged nobleman is left to defend his home and family using his wits, faith---and an heirloom sword passed down from the time of Christ. Will those weapons be enough when his mother becomes deathly ill and his sister is abducted by enemy warriors? Dove approved (12+). Approx. 91 minutes.

OH! MY! WORD!!! This movie is fabulous!! What an unexpected treasure!!! I am so impressed that this was created, produced, and executed by homeschooling students and their devoted familes. GOD BLESS YOU!!! I even enjoyed watching the "credits" at the end. :) Loved your final credit, too. SO TRUE!!! When is your next endeavor?

Generations challenged to pass down their faith are the focus of this family-friendly feature. After watching this film made by a small independent group of homeschoolers, I am amazed to think about the thread of faith that brought the knowledge of Christ from the days of the cross to the present. Though the costumes, customs, and surroundings change, each generation is called to defend home, family, and faith... you will find yourself asking, "How do I measure up to this task that every Christian is called to?" Take up your sword!
