An excellent story -- fast moving, some expected, some unexpected scenes. I so love it when the Christian character stands and doesn't give in to the temptations of the devil!

I watched it as a family movie instead of just with the kiddos 12+. My two younger kids didn't understand certain parts of the movie, but that was ok & good. I am glad it ended the way it did.

I love this movie! It's about staying constant when we want to give in. Standing firm in our faith, going after souls and not giving up, and being who God made us even in the face of constant temptation and trial! I'm a youth pastor so I see teen's constant struggles. Teens need Godly movies that are about real issues and how to deal with these issues in a Godly way or else they will learn them the worldly way. Most of my teens deal with persecution and hostile people like Lucas all the time at school and work. There was NO sex though the temptation was there,(which teens face everyday and everywhere they look) there was a few small kissing scenes , (no making out) and there is a scene with a condom.(No nudity) One party scene with beer bottles. God said He sends us out as sheep among wolves. But we are not to be conformed to this world. I found this movie to be very real, refreshing, and the ending is beautiful! Highly recommended!! I also recommend, The Grace Card.
********Caution Spoiler alert for Parents!***************
We all know that God doesn't want us to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. Mike(A Christian) dates a girl who doesn't know Jesus. They keep it holy the whole movie. I whole heartily teach the word of God and discourage all Christians to date nonbelievers, in the end of this movie she gets saved and later they get married.
As far as the condom scene goes- There is NO nudity. While they are star gazing one night, The non-believing girlfriend offers Mike(Christian) a condom but he does the right thing. He tells her No, he would never treat her an anyway that he wouldn't want his wife to be treated. Then he blows up the condom and it flies away. And they continue to look at the stars.
Mike is constantly taunted and pushed around, even punched in the face by Lucas but he(Mike) never hits him back or says anything unGodly. They end up being best friends in the end.
There is a scene with teens drinking. Mike is offered a beer but he says No.

Many things were presented that we don't agree with - dating unsaved, sex, anger with no counseling, etc. It was a sad story but had a good ending.

Great Movie! Ben Davies who played Lucas was great! Michael showed how a girl should be treated. Jasmine learned how to let go of the past accept God's best.
