I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. I particularly enjoyed Bernie Diamond's performance as the Letter Writer. It was so nice to see how much of a difference a little bit of encouragement can make in the lives of others. It really inspired me to speak words of life to those around me, whether old friends or even strangers in the checkout line at the grocery store. Although I only have smaller children, I thought this would be an especially nice movie for families with teens and preteens to watch as a family.
The only thing I did not like was the story line with Maggie and her Dad, there didn't seem to be much of a resolution there.

This is not a particularly strong Christian movie however it is a feel-good film. It's clean in that there is no cursing, alcohol, smoking, or such. My wife cried quite a bit. If you like movies with a happy ending you probably will enjoy this one. It's a bit heart touching.

I was attracted to this film, because I am a big "letter writer." It was a great story and an incentive to write cards and notes of encouragement to others, whether you know them or not.

Very uplifting film that I got at a bargain price. Good story line, with good actors and can be enjoyed by young and old alike. Keep making these heartwarming movies as you will have a customer for a very long time.

For me, this movie shows how life takes on meaning when we get out of ourselves and see the needs in other peoples lives, and then find a way to help meet those needs. A good film for teenagers on the brink of adulthood.

This movie has a number of fantastic messages, especially watch the "Making of . . " special feature because it does a good job of bringing out the messages and themes. Definitley family friendly and inspirational.

If you have teenagers or young adult children, this is a movie must see! My husband started to decline my invite to watch this movie, but he was singing it's praises at the end. It has a simple ,yet so real life story line. This will speak volumes to young and old alike. The message, the depth of the message speaks so strong to your heart. The elderly man played his role so well. This would be a great movie to share on movie night with your teen Sunday school class or youth group. Then have group time and share their thoughts on the movie and how it relates to their own personal lives. Can't say enough good about this movie. Well worth the money!
