This was purchased as a gift for my daughter's university graduation. Content is so good I think I'll purchase one for myself so we can study together. I was a little disappointed in the binding. The cover is not as supple as I had hoped and is very plain. I'm glad I went ahead with the personalized engraving to add something special. The content, however, was more important and makes up for it.

THIS BIBLE WAS A GIFT FOR A PURPLE LOVER THE COLOR WAS NICE EVEN THE INSIDE WAS PURPLE WITH LIGHT GREEN THE PERSON LOVED THE GIFT THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD WAS THE SAME AS MY OTHER ONE FOR SOME REASON THE INSIDE STUCK TO THE PAGE AND TORE A BIT, BUT OTHER THEN THAT SHE LOVED IT AND I WAS HAPPY THAT SHE LOVED IT!!!

My "original bible" is very worn and I've been searching for a new one that I'd be able to embrace as much as I did "my favorite one" when a woman sat next to me in church one day and had this bible. When I noticed the bonded leather cover was PURPLE, it immediately got my attention! She offered to show it to me and when she opened it, I "knew" this is the bible I'd been looking for!! I am very pleased with the font size -- and the font color, which is a deep purple! The sketches of women throughout it are delightful and I like how the devotionals and study helps emphasize the presence of women in the bible. (The concordance is pretty decent as well. If you are the type who likes to write notes in the margins, you'll love this bible because there are lots of space throughout where you can do just that. All in all, it is beautifully published -- and the fact that it is comprised of gentle greens and deep purples makes it all the better!

I absolutely love this Bible. I bought it for myself as a birthday gift after having my eye on it for several months. I love the 'extras' that come with this. There are weekly devotionals, colored maps, a small concordance, several commentaries, the list goes on... The only thing that I do not love is the weight of the pages-I have creased some while I was trying to have Bible, journal, Bible Study workbook, and laptop all in lap at the same time :) If you are looking for a nice Bible for yourself or someone special in your life, look no further...BUY THIS ONE!!!! I also had it engraved with my name on the outside-AWESOME!

I had this Bible before years ago; and witness to a young woman who excepted Christ and she didn't have a Bible so I gave her mine.
I had another Bible but, I really love this Bible because of the devotionals, the informative information of the Women of the Bible, the easy to read and understanding the key notes and the maps along with the concordance.
Thank you, because I looked for years for this Bible and could not find it, I was at my Sisters house and seen you catalog; Lord and behold there it was so I ran to the computer and order it that day. It didn't take long for me to get it!!!!

This beautiful leather bound Bible will be a treasure and inspiration for the person receiving the gift and those with whom it is shared. There are good study helps and guidance included. The pages for inscription are very very thin and need a light touch for any calligraphy of names and blessings.
