Bridge-logos Publishing Help for the Laid Off

A timely message of hope and encouragement. HELP for the Laid Off will help you accept the unacceptable. Drawing from two personal layoff experiences, author Mary Aucoin Kaarto covers subjects like money matters, lessons to be learned during a layoff, and the fruitful blessings that may come. She shows you how to find sanity in a jobless reality, how to make it your job to find a job and how to avoid falling into the classic pity party after a layoff.

"It is a blessing from God for you to share your testimony to the world about your past. Reading this book is like having a close friend sitting down with me, praying and encouraging me. There have been some days when it seems like there is no hope, but reading what you have been through and to see what God has done in your life has encouraged me. How He has brought you through it all and how you continue to trust in Him. I knew my God would do what He said He would do, but being patient is sometimes hard to do. Trying hard to find a job and being torn down time after time gets to you, and makes you think nobody cares about you. Thanks to you for being bold and sharing your experience with me. I really enjoyed reading your book."

This book really was a great inspiration for me to get through the tough time of being laid off. Ms. Kaarto's book gave me great tools to enhance my faith in this time, how to manage my finances and to try to hold on to my sanity. This book was the right book at the right time saying the right things to help me.

Not thinking straight? Confused about life? How you will live? How you will cope? Who will pay the bills? Mary Aucoin Kaarto understands. She's been there--twice. HELP for the LAID OFF could have been titled Hope for the Laid Off. Packed with practical help and emotional hope, Mary takes your hand, grabs the Hand of God, and walks you through the financial, mental, and spiritual crises of a job loss. HELP for the LAID OFF is filled with scriptures to cling to when it feels like life's mountain is too hard to climb. God and Mary assure you that your world will come back together and you will recover as you take steps to see God's will and find God's job for you. If you are laid off, buy this book. If you know someone who is laid off, buy them this book. Read HELP for the LAID OFF as your first positive move--study it as your first tool to getting back to work while glorifying God in the process.

HELP for the LAID OFF by Mary Aucoin Kaarto is the right book at just the right time. In light of recent events it has become more urgent than ever to be ready for the challenges life can bring. HELP for the LAID OFF is the best of God's word, direction and help in 144 pages. I'm recommending this book to all my laid-off friends and clients. God allowed this challenge in Mary's life because He knew He could trust her to create a tool that would bring hope to many as well as help them find God in the midst of their trial. God has a purpose and plan no matter what and this book leads one to realize the full potential of that.
