The speaker in this series, Ray Vanderlaan, has great insight on the life of Jesus. He is a historian and a professor. He has done extensive study on this subject.

We use this product in a small group. We only have one book. I am the leader. I prepare the lessons from the material given. There is so much provided that it is hard to limit myself to one hour. This is the second Faith Lessons series we have used and we are enjoying this one even more than we enjoyed the first one. I would highly recommend this product to anyone.

Our Sunday School class is approx. 1 hour long, the actual time of each session is excellent as it allows discussions to be well-rounded and good participation.
Each session seems to really enlighten a certain section of scripture that was previously not known or perhaps misunderstood.
Actually seeing the land of Israel while explaining the meaning of the scripture...Priceless!

I picked this study based on the reviews it had received from others. I did not have any previous knowledge about the series. We have only been using it a few weeks, but I (and my class) have thoroughly enjoyed it so far! Even the seasoned Christians in the class are finding new insights in these familiar passages. Since we are using it for Sunday School, I've enjoyed incorporating the additional information found in the daily devotion sections.

This study is really in depth and makes scripture come alive, illustrating the heritage and walk of Jesus on Earth! This is my second time through this study with a Bible study group! I highly recommend it!
