My favorite is the story about the professor and how he came back to Jesus.

The first two stories were too difficult to get into. The third one was very good, however, it didnt make up for the first two.

The book is written by a favorite of mine, and after tracking down this book, I ordered it lickety split! Guareenteed a good read! Ms. Thompson always leaves you begging for more of her wit and humour! Her love of God shines through her writing!

Laura showed great strength and love of the Lord even when it was so dark in the tunnel she could always see the light of the Lord

I almost didn't make it past the first story, because it was very hard for me to identify with the heroine. I felt, in the circumstances, that she was spineless -- a condition I have never seen in a Texas woman (I'm from California, by the way). However, I soldiered on and was massively relieved to get to the other two stories. They were much better. It is a three-star read. The first had some moments, but the other two were infinitely better.

I have really enjoyed reading this book as I am from Texas. The stories talk about real cities and streets in these cities.
