I almost exclusively read Amish & Christian historical fiction. Wanda never fails to write wonderful, true to Amish life books. Very much enjoyed this book. We all have struggles in life including the Amish. Always look fwd to Wandas new releases.

I love the stories I have become addicted to the wonderful stories, I read about the Amish their ways and the love of God and how wonderful they appreciate life in it self.. I was never much of a reader, I have a hard time putting the book down. These are real heart warming stories of the real life of wonderful people. I just finished reading White Christmas Pie... I laughed, cried and smiled at every unique episode.
I think I will end up with a full library of these Amish books to pass down to my grandchildren.. lol

I am really enjoying all Wanda Brunstetter books I read. She keeps you hanging at the end of each chapter. I appreciate the fact that she knows and studies some of the Amish.

Book takes you through the everyday routine of the Amish.
But it did not immediately get my attention. I love a book that gets me started off as soon as I start reading it. About halfway, interest began to grab as you wonder what is going to happen next.

This was as my review summary says, absolutely delightful! The story was so beautifully written. And lets not forget how my mouth watered whenever that oh so famous "White Christmas Pie" was mentioned! In the end, all that watering was worth it when I found the recipe to it in the back! I ended up baking it with the help of some family and it turned out to be too scrumptious for words! The fact that it had this huge wonderful Christmas story to it's own that I thought about when eating it made it ten times better.
I would definitively recommend this book!

White Christmas Pie is just one of the many books that Wanda E. Brunstetter has written. I love a Good Christmas book to read during December. However, I have been in the mood for Christmas books lately. This book was perfect. It deals with problems that are getting more relevant in today's society than years gone by. My heart just broke as I read the story of will and Karen. I smiled when things began to go right for Will. It is a story of simpler times in Amish country. It is a story of forgiveness and understanding. It is a love story on so many levels from family love to the kind of love that draws a man and woman together for a lifetime. It is a book of how each of us deal with our own trials in a different way and how the way we deal with them makes us who we are today. I was drawn into the story from page one. It kept my interest all the way through.
Although this book is published as fiction/Christian/Romance, it is not preachy. It is a great down to earth book.

I always enjoy reading Amish stories and this one was relaxing and, although at times it seemed a little predictable, it had a nice twist regarding the missing note that the biological dad wrote to his son.
