Barbour Publishing Wisconsin Brides

Historical Romance: Enjoy a trip into a slower paced time when love came softly-but not without a few hitches. Violet Fairfield appears to be an abandoned wife with three young children. Beulah Fairfield is hemmed in by others' expectations that make her afraid to trust her own heart. Marva Obermeir is lonely-lonely enough to advertise for a husband. You've never seen a more romantic side of Wisconsin life.

I love this author's writing style. Wish you had more of her books to offer. She creates believable characters and highlights God's working in people's lives.

This book in the Romancing America series is a gem! The characters, especially the major male ones, are not easily forgotten. One special feature of the book is the tying together of the plots of the three books. This is Christian historical fiction at its best, wtih two of Wisconsin's locales featured. Be blessed in this (fictional) confirmation of the Lord's caring for all those who trust Him!

This has become one of my favorite books! The charaters are more common people with huge capcity's to love. The stories interconnect telling a life story instead of individual ones. Great read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I like when 4 novels connect people and places. I would definitely buy a similar novel.
