Great read - very in depth. The nuances and diction of Knox is sometimes confusing - even though this is an updated version it is still dated. His account of George Wishart is inspiring and has left a wonderful picture of Christlikeness in my mind. This shows a great history of Knox's growth and involvement around the time of Mary Queen of Scots and prior to her reign. Not for the novice reader, but is a pleasurable read.
