OakTara Queen of the Castle

Prissy is a miniature black schnauzer and is queen of the castle at her home. She gets all the attention from her family and loves to lounge in her favorite recliner. This all changes one day when the family brings home a new dog, a puppy named Snickers. Prissy is determined to get Snickers kicked out of the house and almost succeeds until Snickers helps Prissy when she least expects it. Will Prissy learn to get along with Snickers?

This book is awesome! When we received it I opened it and began to read and I couldn't put it down until I finished it, and I am the mom and grandma! This book has a lot to offer everyone. Not only is the content uplifting and motivating but the author includes discussion questions and inspiration for our 'young writer', I don't want to give it away. Everyone should read this book and encourage others to purchase. It is a gem. An added bonus- this is a great tool for home schoolers...

Just received this book and my son loved it. He is 5 so I read it to him. Although he was a little too young for the discussion questions or to write his own story, those "extras" make the book even more special. I highly recommend this to all children.

This book is a story of love, acceptance, and forgiveness as told through the main character- a schnauzer. Kids love dog books and this one will not disappoint. Features questions, facts and a writing prompt at the end. Ages 6-10 (or even higher if they like dog adventures)
