The news headlines today can be cause for r worry and despair, but for the believer in Jesus Christ we can still be full of joy, as we realize that we have a blessed savior who is in control of every event in every place. The book of Philippians is about joy and rejoicing in the midst of difficult circumstances and difficult people--about being joyful even when you don't have anyone but Christ. Study this book to learn what it means to have fullness of joy with the master.

What a wonderful, biblical book! We just finished this book for my women's bible study and it was one of the best books I have ever done. You will know the book of Philippians very well when you are done with this book. We learned so much.
The only thing is this book is really a year long study. I made my study group do two chapters a week and it was hard to soak up all the good information. So I would suggest taking your time for the year.

Susan Heck is an excellent Bible teacher. Her verse by verse studies are biblically grounded, clearly communicated and well presented. Our ladies Bible study group has done her study on the book of James and her study on Prayer and we are currently working through "In Fullness of Joy". Excellent commentary in a format that is easy to follow. The study questions offered at the end of each chapter provide thought provoking discussion. I highly recommend any of Susan's work for personal or group study.
