In Search of Love is the first of 4 separate love stories within the McFadden family.
Absolutely fantastic short story about the love for Annalisa Davis that Cade has for her and the 3 boys who he is caring for on his ranch.
Patchwork and Politics is the second book within this group of short stories. The eldest of Cade’s younger brothers bangs into and plows down a young widow named Megan Watson who he cant stop thinking about after the fact.
Through the Fire is the third short story and involves Clint McFadden as he goes from quitting fire fighting to meeting the woman who the Lord has chosen for him to marry back to fighting fires again.
Longing for Home is the last of the 4 short stories involving Jake McFadden who is a famous baseball player and the woman of his dreams.
All 4 short stories are extremely well written and intertwined with a peppering of humour, mixed in with lots of romance. The underlying theme in all 4 stories is that God wants us to keep moving forward in our lives and not to get bogged down in the past.

I really enjoyed reading the four short stories. I love that the brothers are briefly introduced in the first story, but are given depth in their own individual stories. I also loved each one of the ladies. The only negative was that it made me miss my own extended family. Maybe I will plan a family reunion...

I, too, found it hard to put this book down once I started reading it. I was pleasantly surprised by the way the four stories were so expertly interwoven. I wanted to read it again immediately upon completion and probably would have had I not ordered so many books prior to Christmas. (My gift to myself!) I certainly will be reading it again.

Well, well, well this book is fantastic for a short story book. First time i've ever read any of Christine's books but I will continue to look out for more for sure!! I like the way she used the same family. The first three stories were fantastic but the fourth just topped them all. I couldn't put it down till I was finished. I wished there was a whole book alone on Jake and Brandi. These men mentioned have wonderful qualities, wish more men where like them.Anyhow keep up the good work, you've got support. We all think you're great!!

I truly enjoy the novella format. I like that all stories dealt with one family of brothers. Each story stood on it's own. All stories were interesting and a good read. I will continue to purchase books by this author.

I enjoy all historical romances. It's fun to read about life in the pioneer days. And the hard times many of the people experienced in those days.

All four of the stories in Arkansas were so real that I feel like I've met many new actual friends. The problems each person wrestled with & the God-given solutions really helped me with some of my own personal problems. I actually hated to have the book end - I really would like to continue with the people & how their choices landed them, whether it was their final decision, or God's plans for each of them. I gave Arkansas five stars because I will definitely be keeping & re-reading this book many times. I recommend it for everyone who likes real-life stories - it's that good!!

Fantastic!!!!!!! This is now my favorite 4-in-1 book! Thats pretty hard to get me to do. I am very much a critic. I love Christine's style. Her stories are believeable not "perfect" like I see alot in 4-in-1's. I am looking forward to reading her other books. If she does this good of job on her other books, she'll no doubt become one of my favotite authors. Keep it up, Christine!!!!

I normally don't like these type of separate books within a book - so I nearly didn't read it - This one I enjoyed immensely. Would love to read more like it! I immediately ordered Christine's other books!
