Im a youth minister of what I would call a small to medium size group. This year our high school group shift into a heavy boy driven group leaving me with fewer girls. I realize the need and importance of creating a space safe just for my girls. This bible study is great, it targets girls of all ages and walks in life, I didnt want to do a "true love can wait" type study because I think that relationship today go further than that. Today our girls are expose to not just sex but abusive relationships that are mental and phsycal, as well as the hype that media creates about self image and bullying. This bible study will make your girls talk, make sure that you are ready to lisent and offer a "safe space" to talk.
i set this bible study as a "tea party" and we have cookies, snack and tea and do the bible study...Each week we talk more than the time allowed :) My girls and I have grown closer, and we are talking about the importance that they are made beautiful and not to let the comments , tweets, post or gossip about them became their reality!
As a youth minister I would recommend this to any church no matter your denomination or size of the group...Thank you Yellow roses!
