Editorial Unilit El Hombre Celestial (The Heavenly Man)

The Heavenly Man is the dramatic and intense story of how God took a young, half-starved boy from a poor village in Henan Province and used him mightily to preach the gospel despite horrific opposition. Brother Yun is one of China's house church leaders, a man who despite his relative youth has suffered prolonged torture and imprisoment for his faith. His accounts challenges any complacency abouth the situation in China, where international economic investment ignores the brutal fact that religious persecution is still a daily reality for millions.

This is an awesome book that shows the kind of Christians God is preparing in China and convicts us of our lazziness in the western world to obey God. Every Christian should read it thoroughly to learn to endure for Christ.

Excellent account of Yun's life and ministry in China. I couldn't put the book down. The Christian believers of China and the house church movement is deeply imbedded in my heart as a result.
