NavPress Red, The Color of Christmas

Red, the Color of Christmas offers truth and hope for readers and explains the real meaning of Christmas and our Redeemer. In this book author Greg Laurie takes the approach that perhaps we have made Christmas too beautiful. Jesus came to earth and was born as a human baby, not just to teach us to be good, but to die an agonizing death to ransom us from an eternal death sentence.

The shadow of the cross lay over the beauty of that first Christmas night. Within the joy and wonder of Christmas, there is also pain and the red blood paid to redeem us - the only gift that literally keeps on giving. Leather-look with embossed title and ribbon bookmark.

I hope to share this with those I love next Thanksgiivng to get them to thinking about what Christmas is and is not. A real jewel, I plan to read it myself for many years to come before the seasons begins so I'll be truly prepared to celebrate.
