An excellent gift item to a father or mother or even both at a spiritual baptism or dedication during Christian Home Week, Family Service or birth of a new son.
While this is NOT the usual record book of 1st outing, innoculations, birthdays, school days etc. it IS a thought provoking record of growth through the many stages of a young boys life, experiences, freinds, family with scripture to guide a parent or guardian that can be presented to the child when he is grown ...graduation, wedding or birth of his own child...........very meaningful and the illustrations are nostalgic yet timely.

This is so awesome wish they had these things when I had my children, something to treasure when you get to old to remember and something to bond with your child when they see how much you love them

This is an adorable book and I would have given it 5 stars except that it is too small in my opinion. I was really disappointed but that's my fault for not reading closer in the description. Other than that it's a sweet book. I purchased it for a dear friend who's having a little boy and I thought it would be comforting and helpful for her to journal her thoughts and feelings during her pregnancy. She was happy to receive it. I would recommend it as a nice shower gift if you know...It's a Boy!
