My aunt gave me this book a few years ago, and every time I read it I love it even more (I've read it at least five times now). I highly recommend "A Child of the King."

A powerful tale for 'children' of all ages.....I was spellbound! Beautifully written, every page made me fall in love with the "People of the Book". This is a story that families will enjoy for generations to come. I'm eagerly awaiting the rest of the trilogy!

My 10 year old son who enjoys the genre of fantasy and sci-fi could not put this book down! He said it was absolutely fantastic and wanted to know if there is a sequel...he wants the story to continue. It is definitely one he will reread...and he understood all the analogies to the Christian's life.

I could not put this book down. Every sentence hooked and compelled me to read further. The insight and sensitivity to human issues and struggles and the hope which is availible to us all was woven throughout each chapter. A perfect book for todays intrigue with legend and magic.

Quality childrens stories with substance are hard to find. As a producer of children's videos, I'm excited when I find a well written story. A Child of the King is just that. Its a timeless tale that grabs you and pulls you right into the storyline an intriguing, classic story filled with Biblical truths at each twist and turn. Once my wife got hold of it, I couldnt get it back until she finished the book. This is a story you'll want to read to your children. Youll find yourself enjoying it as much as they will.

If you like C.S. Lewis and J.R. Tolkien, you will LOVE this allegory by Bright and Wells! The story chronicles the struggle of Jotham as he searches for significance and the forces that try to keep him from Prince Morning Star. Classic tale of good and evil set in a rich tapestry of spiritual truth. An accurate and unforgettable portrayal of the compassionate, unconditional, unwavering love of the Good Shepherd. Action, mystery, and inspiration bundled in one--this book packs a spiritual punch! I am eagerly awaiting the next 2 books in the trilogy!!!
