Customer Reviews for Harvest House Publishers Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark: Hosea, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah

Harvest House Publishers Finding Hope When Life Seems Dark: Hosea, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, and Zephaniah

In this booklet you'll study five of the prophets who ministered to both the northern and southern kingdoms before the exile of the southern kingdom to Babylon. Though God commissioned His prophets to preach unique messages to different audiences, He gave them a common theme—hope when life seems dark. As you study these, you too will find hope. Group or individual study includes a daily guide to help you discover truth for yourself, questions for discussion, a thought for the week, and a memory challenge.

I have been doing inductive study for several years using the Precept books. They are very helpful in guiding someone through a study of the Scriptures. Thank you for carrying these items.

I have used a number of books from this series and they are all excellent. They work well for individual and for small group study. The series covers the entire Bible, book by book. The minor prophets are books that are not often visited by most, but they have a great deal to teach us. After studying this book, you will have a much better understanding of these prophets and their message.

I have used another Bible study guide before, however I have found this one to be more comprehensive.

I have studied with Kay Arthur in local Bible Study Groups for years. Now those groups are no longer available to me, so I will be using these studies on my own to keep in the Word of God. This book is divided into weekly then daily studies. It carries the same types of activities, just not in workbook form. I look forward to going on with my study of the Old Testament minor prophets.
