In the frontier town of Denver, Colorado, Sabrina Matthews is given a second chance to escape the perilous life of a prostitute by a policeman and his wife. Danny and Callie give her everything she needs to start a new life, sharing their home and their faith in Jesus Christ.
Cleaning up after working the night district isn't the hard part - it's the past that nips her heels at every turn. Danny and Callie send her to Montana Territory to give her a chance for a fresh start. But will her willingness to help others in Token Creek drive away the first chance she's ever had to fall and love? Or was it a dream that was out a reach for a woman with her checkered past?
When I initially began the story about a prostitute, I was wasn't sure I was going to really get into and enjoy the book. Sabrina surprised and entertained me with it's characters, their relationships with God and each other, but most of all, their love. Without truly knowing about Sabrina's past, the town accepts and embraces her as their own without questions or reservations.
The story was romantic and a page turner, and her past did not dictate who she became. A recommended read, and a book I will read again.

Hmmm... To be honest, this story had a lot of potential. I'll start by saying that I liked the whole idea of having a girl with a bad past, redeemed by God and finding true Love. Sounds all cute and good eh? Well, except the fact that this novel lacked some depth at some points. The characters could have been developed in a better way. Sometimes I feel that they could have been portrayed as more matured people. The dialogues could have been a 100 times better; And through out the story, things were mostly very predictable so I found reacting out loud 'Duh!... Of course!' Now this is not to bash Mrs Wick work. She writes sweet stories. But a little more passion and depth, never hurt in a novel. (But, I will admit that I'm curious to see what happens to Sabrina and Rylan in the next story)

Big Sky Country--Montana--in the ol' west is the setting for these stories. I finished Big Sky Dreams Series liking Sabrina, the second book, the most out of the three.
Sabrina or "Bri" as everyone calls her has a history and uses this past to reach out to others around her even though she puts herself at risk. She catches the local minister's eye and their relationship was fun to read as it developed over time. I liked the character Sabrina reminding me more of past Lori Wick characters that kept me up reading to find out what happens to them--just to make sure!
There were a lot of characters in this series and this overdose of people does become confusing at times, but overall, I enjoyed the series and learned from the characters truths about God. Fiction with some depth is something worthwhile and relaxing at the same time. Pick up this series at your local library or at a store near you!

I loved the real Sabrina and how she followed God's leading when God gave her a chance with Danny & Callie. The book was so interesting that I couldn't put it down.

This book is an excellent book. It is very interesting. This is the second in the series of three books : 1. "Cassidy" 2. "Sabrina" 3. "Jessie". My recommendation is that you read the first book, in this series, then read this one. The first one introduces you to some of the characters in this book. EXCELLENT BOOKS.

Forgiving oneself of their past sins is a difficult issue no matter what it is that you are guilty of. The story of a prostitute coming to Christ has been told. It was told in the Bible, it was told by Francine Rivers, it was told by Tamera Alexander, and now I've read it again from Lori Wick. But that is not saying oh, read it move on. Definitely not. The fact of hearing over and over again that no matter how bad you think your past actions have been, God loves you is incredible. The story of Sabrina is a wonderful one that did a great deal of good for my heart to read. I was less impressed with Cassidy (book #1), but Sabrina could very easily be read as a stand alone. Once upon a time, I had told a friend that I just could not forgive myself for something, even though I knew that Christ had forgiven me, his response was, so basically you're saying God's forgiveness is not enough? It was a shocking moment, and this book is equally as powerful to learning a little more about myself as well as enjoying a great story with romance, life lessons in scripture, with a little western action mixed in as well. I recommend it

This book is as good as the first book Cassidy. I love the way Lori Wick intertwines all the families together. It makes you want to go and live with them. Her books always gloryfy God and teaches salvation.

This was an easy read with a lot of scriptural passages and interpretations. It is so refreshing to read a good Christian-based love story that doesn't have to use all the lurid passages some writers think they have to use.

The storyline was great, having God's unconditional redeeming love at the heart of the message. Overall though it was too slow, and I had to force myself not to abandon the book on numerous occasions. It took me about a month to read this book compared to the usual 1-2 days.The characters were thinly developed with meaningless "small talk" where much more subtance could have been given to their internal struggles.For a far better story along the same lines see Francine River's "Redeeming Love". It is the best book I ever read in my entire life!

Lori Wick as an author could have developed this series so much more. I like this series but I wish that the characters were deeper where the reader could see the raw feelings. Lori writes....like she is purposely keeping them closed off. The book has many slow parts where i had to force myself to read through. Ultimately, the series had an interesting story line. Her other books showed more perspective but i would continue to read her books to find out what happens in Jessie.

I have never read a Lori Wick book that I didn't enjoy. Sabrina was such a wonderful book because it shows how Christ forgives and how people also can do the same. The love she showed to others and the love that was returned to her made the book so interesting.

I loved the beginning of this book, it really draws you in to care about what happens to the main character. The struggles and situations that occur seem very real to life, even modern day life stories. I apppreciate the author's sensitivity to the subject of prostitution, and I think as a reader I became more aware of the calling to reach out to the lost.

I loved this book! Lori Wick is definitely hitting it off with this series! I would have to say that I think this might be even better than Cassidy. They are both awesome. Read them for yourself. If you are love a good book this is the one for you!
