Harvest House Publishers Song of Erin

Song of Erin is a panoramic story that crosses the ocean from Ireland to America, featuring two of her most memorable characters. In this tale of struggle and love and uncompromising faith, Jack Kane, the always charming but sometimes ruthless titan of New Yorks most powerful publishing empire, is torn between the conflict of his own heart and the grace and light of Samantha Harte, the woman he loves, whose own troubled past continues to haunt her.

First book I have read by this author and I loved it. I read constantly, and am now looking online for some more of her books.

I am three quarters thru reading this book and I can hardly put it down it is so fantastic and full of adventure, mystery, intrigue and romance. I love it. I have other of BJ Hoff's books and she is a great Christian writer and she did it again in writing another great book. I highly recommend this book, and my roots are from Scotland, but this book is so interesting. I truly hope Irish immigrants are treated better today.

I am reading this book right now and enjoying it very much. I love the Irish setting as I have ancestors from there and it helps me understant the struggle they had when they came to America.

B.J. Hoff has another winner. This novel was an easy way to learn the history of Irish migration to America. The how's and why's were intertwined with well developed characters. The plot had some twists for added interest.

It is a rare book that literally will not let me go, that makes it hard for me to turn off the light at night, that holds me captive turning pages so that I justify laying around reading for hours and hours a day! (I may want to do that sometimes, but I usually won't let myself give in to the pleasure.) Unless I am holding an amazing book!SONG OF ERIN is that book!Honestly, even if you don't think you like historical fiction or don't have a fascination with Ireland, you still need to read this book! It is fascinating! B.J. Hoff is a master of character development, and I promise you - you will know these characters well by the time you are finished.I waited until I finished the book to comment because some books have disappointing endings. Not this time! I was wholly satisfied with the ending - I absolutely LOVED this story!

Absolutely EPIC, amazing historical romance. From the wild shores of Ireland to the dark streets of New York in the 1800s. This is a story of hope, heartbreak, and redemption that stays with you for a very long time. And that Jack Kane character is just... dreamy!
