Sammy Scallop lives under the sea with his family in Shellville, and attends Reef Shellementary School with his best friends. One day, Sammy and his little sister Samantha were going home from school when an anchor began to descend on them. Before it hit his little sister, Sammy pushed her out of the way and the anchor broke of a piece of his shell. Everybody laughed and made fun of Sammy for having a broken shell and Sammy felt very bad about himself . . . until he is the only one that can save his teacher Miss Lucy Lobster from Captain Steve's lobster trap. Will Sammy be able to save Miss Lucy in time?
This wonderfully illustrated book is an excellent way to help teach your little ones that it doesn't matter what you look like on the outside, but who you are on the inside. Included in the back are questions to encourage discussion with your children.
