Without meaning to sound cliche, "Woman on the Edge" is a must-read for every woman no matter her age. This book isn't just a Biblically sound, encouraging, comforting, and inspiring piece of work - it's a blessing from Jesus to women everywhere. We women find ourselves "on the edge" all too frequently. It can be that place where we're on the verge of a serious breakdown. Or, we could be standing at a crossroads in life where we need to choose between following our own path or trusting God. Either way, it can be a very precarious place to be.It is this precarious state that Cindi focuses on in her newest book. Not only does Cindi sympathize with women who have experienced being "on the edge," she also gets to the nitty-gritty below what is, in reality, a symptom of a larger problem. What is that larger issue? It can be one of several things, but they all center around our relationship with Jesus. And it is in "Women on the Edge" that Cindi lays before us some very helpful answers, by skillfully mixing sound Biblical teaching with a multitude of testimonies from women around the country - as well as sharing personal experiences of her own.The book is packed with information and testimonies from women who have survived "being on the edge." There is simply no way you can put this book down without having gleaned help, hope, and a desire to draw nearer to Jesus - and away from "the edge."

I truly love this book for all the scenarios that are covered in our lives. It is so encouraging and insightful how Cindi blends real life experiences with God's Holy Word. The common theme I draw from "Women on the Edge" is that WE are NOT ALONE! Christ has walked every road of life that we find ourselves on, God's Promises are true for all of us to hold onto, and the Holy Spirit is our source of power, wisdom, comfort and peace in every situation. We do have a choice and it is clear about the outcomes of our choices! This book is a great resource to read and ready us in preparation to help others that come into our lives with perplexing decisions and issues. It really quenches a thirst.

WOMEN ON THE EDGE is an honest look at women who are desperate to make sense of life's struggles. Cindi's vulnerable transparency offers hope, providing the reader with the tools to turn desperation into desire for intimacy with God. This will be the book that I give to the women I minister to when they find themselves on the edge.

Women on the edge takes a hard look at women who are one breath away from a major meltdown in their lives. The author gets to the truth about the causes and how we can find the peace that we are so desperately needing. This book is filled with stories of women who had to learn to trust God and His plan for their lives. I loved the way the chapters where laid out. Every chapter began with the word Desperate. So if you are in a season in our life that you have a need to control your world and things are not going according to plan, you may read the chapter labeled: Desperate for Control: Desiring a surrendered heart. This layout reminds me of Beth Moore's book Praying God's Word where you don't necessarily need to read the entire thing at once. You can pick it up and read a chapter as you need it. I love books like this. Even if you are not a reader, this is a book that you can quite easily get through. It is written in plain everyday language, and also at the end of each chapter is scripture along with questions that a woman can answer and apply to her life.

Although I can't speak for women everywhere, I know that in my little corner of the world, the more women I speak with, the more I find that there are more women on the edge than I realize. I believe that this will be a book that I will be recommending a great deal.

Women on the Edge will encourage and inspire any woman who desires to become more Christ-like. Cindi's practical application of scripture to our daily struggles brings hope and healing. I loved it so much, I went and bought one for a friend. Though my friend "isn't a reader," she's finding the book easy to read yet deep with insight. Thank you, Cindi, for sharing your heart!
