I had purchased the original version of Kay Arthur's "How to Study Your Bible". The updated version has better organization and additional tools usually learned only in Precept classes. Do not try to rush through. There is a great deal to be learned and your Bible study will be richer, deeper, and greatly improved when you truly understand inductive study.

I have used and taught the inductive method for years. I like the revised copy with it's more updated format. But know that reading this book will be like drinking from a fire hose. So take it slow.

This Book not only gives you a new way to look at and study the Word of God but also gives excellent examples that would make this a good book for even high school students. It might present a little challenging for some Middle School students but I think most will find this a good tool not only for studying the bible but also in general for book reports.

The New How to Study Your Bible book has been a great help to me in going deeper into Gods word. It points out how to look for and find who the author is,who he is speaking to, what he is saying to them and why he is saying it. You will also see how scripture interprets scripture and how to do word studies. This book has been such a blessing to me, and God is using it to teach me more about Himself . I think anyone who reads this book can't help but become more knowledgeable about Gods word, but also become closer to God Himself. I totally enjoyed this book and learned a great deal from it.Yours Truly,Vickie Nice
