I bought this Bible to use in reading through the Old Testament this year. I am extremely satisfied. The notes on the bottom of each page are very informative. There are maps, cross references and more helps. Articles about locations, customs and other information give a broad knowledge of the land and times. The quality of the Bible is excellent. It is too large to carry around because of all the added helps, but great for using at home.

Overall, this was a great purchase. It included everything I expected and more about Biblical times and lifestyles. The only downside is how thin the pages are and how the pages stick together. I would recommend this purchase to my friends. You definitely get more than you pay for.

I love my Archeological Study Bible. It offers so much more than I even anticipated. With all the notes, maps etc...I am saved from having to get all the other extra books out to look for more information. I would definitely recommend it to others.

There's something about the smell and feel of a full-sized Bible in your hand that just makes it a pleasure to spend time with. I appreciate the readability of this NIV version, including the cross-references and study tools. The topical articles are one of the highlights of this Bible, giving new insights to the cultures that the books were written in. This was a good purchase with a great value.

Phenomenal reference bible...the only thing is the font is micro graphic. However, if it wasn't the bible would be unwielding in size due to the amassed content of information. An excellent resource for augmenting study and teaching. The software that comes with the bible is great containing many of the insert photos and information that can be exported into word processing documents for handouts. Overall phenomenal resource, I just need my magnifying glasses in order to read it.

This Archaeological Study Bible is the one to have, and I doubt if you'll ever need another one. Although the print is a little small and somewhat hard to read without my glasses the contents of this study bible is above and beyond any other that is available today. It is like having a bible and handbook all in one. Very good buy!!

I am a f/t bible school student and spend much time in the Word. This Bible not only catches the eye of fellow students but teaches something new to whomever picks it up. I highly recommend especially for those interested in deep thorough study of the history and interesting facts found in the Bible. Be Blessed
