We purchased this as a church high school graduation gift for a girl who loves horses. We were so happy with the high quality of the book itself. We did not read it, of course, but the teen loved it.

This is a beautiful book. We gave it to my daughter's riding instructor for Christmas. The illustrations are gorgeous and the stories great.

“Horse Tales from Heaven” by: Rebecca Ondov, is a beautifully inspired devotional, laced with scripture that blessed me as much the second time I read it as it did the first. I am a horse lover but I believe Rebecca’s stories of how God spoke to and led her while she rode the Montana mountain trails for fifteen years will bless all readers. Rebecca has a special gift of learning spiritual lessons in every day occurrences and the faith to trust God in difficult circumstances. God speaks to us in a still small voice (1 Kings 19:11-13) and after reading Rebecca’s stories I have more faith to trust His voice.

I was hooked on the first story and read several stories at a time every chance I had until finishing the book in just a couple of days. Having just returned from a Montana trail ride with grandchildren, I could easily picture the settings Rebeccca described and the situations in which she found herself. The lessons she learned easlily apply to my life as well. I love the book.

I was so pleased with this book. I bought it for my daughter, but had to read it first! I liked it because it grabbed your attention and held it. The chapters were short, concise, and the scriptural application was excellent.

Wow! This book is amazing. It is not only BEAUTIFUL to look at it is BEAUTIFUL to read! As a fellow horse lover the cover really catches your attention. Chris Cummings art work is stunning, and this book is filled with his beautiful artwork. Rebecca's stories really pull you in. You feel like you are right there with her. I love the way she is able to hear God's voice then put it into words for all of us to enjoy & learn from. I couldn't put this book down I read it all in one setting. It caused me to be more aware of God's voice in my own life, and His beautiful creation. Horses being one of His best! This book will make a great gift from young to old all will enjoy.

Just Like Lobster:Dear Rebecca, you may wonder from my review title, what the heck does he mean? I have been reading chapters, but slowly. I read one at a time and savor it. Your stories actually stay with me for days, and many times become relevent to me during the day or week in some situation. Now I have not run into a grizzly yet, but some of the clerks in Minneapolis come close. So, what I am saying is some books are like Big Macs, you are just hungry and want to chow down. Your book is yummy, to the point that you want to go slowly and delight in the freshness of the stories, taste the delicacy. Just like Lobster.

When you put God, horses, adventure, and nature all in one book, you have an automatic hit. This book is filled with great inspiration and reminders that no matter what, all you have to do is look to God. I especially loved the prayers at the end of every chapter. They are ones you could say daily; short, simple, and sweet. Rebecca has ridden the trails and shares her stories with us. I wanted to saddle up with her and ride along. If you love God and horses, read this book! You will not be disappointed.
