Minefields in the Marketplace takes a compelling look at six minefields in which many Christian businessmen and businesswomen get caught: ethical compromise, materialism, dealing with power, sexual temptation, neglected relationships, and spiritual stagnation. Pearson has "seen one or more of these bring a well-meaning Christian down - careers ruined, reputations lost, and marriages destroyed." If you're attempting to succeed at business while serving your Lord and Savior, you'll be given the spiritual wisdom, guidance, and direction for getting safely through the minefields. Discussion questions for each chapter are included.

'Minefields' is a concise read that illustrates the most common pitfalls Satan stages in the workplace. We all stumble in many ways... ( James 3:2) and each Christian will be tempted to take the 'path more traveled' via some tributary of spiritual compromise. I recommend this book especially to those entering the workforce for the first time since " Minefields' will forecast the future of temptation. For those already mired, it may serve to tune your hindsight to 20/20 as most of us seem predisposed to stumble on the same knot over and over. Borrow His grace and break the cycle.
