This is the best interpretation of the dialogues and meaning of the Book of Job I have read over my 35+ years of Bible Study. It gives new insights into the culture and frames more clearly the arguments of Job and his 3 friends. A must read for those who study the meaning of suffering and the supremacy of God.

I didn't know how to accurately rate this book. Bought this book for my mom so she could give to a friend. I was highly impressed from what little I read that I am ordering my own book.

This book really explained Job to me. I can understand better what Job's "friends" were saying, and what Job was saying about his situation. Stedman's explanation of Elihu, the fourth critic, was credible and logical. I have gained a new understanding of what God was saying by including the book of Job in the Bible.
