A SWEETHAVEN CHRISTMAS by Courtney Walsh is a delightful inspirational contemporary romance,Christmas themed. It is Book 3 and final book in the "Sweethaven Circle" series,but another stand alone. See," A Sweethaven Summer",and "A Sweethaven Homecoming". Follow Jane, Lila, Adele, Campbell and Meghan on their final journey together. Each chapter is told from the character's perspective and gives you another insight into each character's heart. With Christmas magic,scrapbooking,a long awaited reunion,secrets,forgiveness,healing,first love,grief,faith,and love. What a delightful way to end a series. An emotional and bittersweet ending. Ms. Walsh is a wonderful storyteller. What's next I wonder! Anyone who enjoys crafts,romance,Christmas themed stories will not be disappointed in "A Sweethaven Christmas". Courtney Walsh in her new book “A Sweethaven Christmas” Book Three in The Sweethaven Series published by Guideposts brings us back into the lives of four women in the town of Sweethaven, Michigan.

The holidays have descended on Sweethaven like the snow that blankets the charming lakeside town, but things don’t go quite as planned for a group of recently reunited friends. Lila is thrown for a loop when a woman claiming to be her sister arrives in town. I like the name of this town, Sweethaven. It tells us that this place is not only a haven, a resting place, but a place that is also sweet. And it is also a beach town where the sound of Lake Michigan can soothe high-strung nerves. It is nice to come home to Sweethaven for another visit. As the ladies prepare for Christmas they find that everything is not so merry and that things are going to get bumpy really fast. Lila, potentially, has a sister that she never knew existed and digging into her background unearths all kinds of dark family secrets. Adele is working for a reunion with an old flame and doesn’t know how that will work out. Sweethaven is poised for all kinds of new things and scrapbooking will help capture all the holiday magic. As she has done with the previous books, Ms. Walsh has done an extraordinary job with the characters. I liked each and every one of them and am sorry that our relationship is ending as this is supposed to be the last book in this series. Maybe Ms. Walsh will be able to take us back to this place and these characters again in the near future, we can always hope. In the meantime we have “A Sweethaven Christmas” to enjoy.
