I have seen a lot of movies about the holocaust, but this one is really special. It is an incredable, but true story of courage and love , shown by a very young girl of 16 and her little sister.
Teenager should see this.

I was pleased that this film brought forth a different angle on the WW2 holocaust. Instead of focusing on death like so many others (though there was death) it focused more on survival and the kind hearts of others who were sympathetic. What I liked best about the movie was that they all survivied and the end of the movie updated us on the lives of those who were hiding.

I bought this video for a Christian School studying WWII. We have elementary grades. Didn't preview and should have. It says 12+, but I wouldn't want my 12 yr. old to see it. The movie was great, right up to the point where the German nurses move in and "entertain" the German soldiers-repeatedly. While it was not explicit, it was apparent the bodies were unclothed in bed, after they had begun undressing-each other. Can't help but wonder why they couldn't use a less graphic way to make their point. I won't trust the Dove commendation hereafter.

I understand this is based on a true story. It was an exciting and yet poignant story. Very interesting. A few shocking scenes, but that was the case during the war. It was encouraging to see that some people did fight for what was right in the world at that time.

This was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. It is great for family night and for church movie nights. Fuscia performance incredible and her character tugs at the heart. I definitely recommend this DVD to anyone who loves true stories. Also the quality of the DVD was excellent. Christianbook is my new favorite site to buy Christian DVDs.

This is the second movie that I purchased from christianbook.com and I was not disappointed. I love movies that are based on a true story. This movie told the story without going over board and I love at the end little notes are shared about the real characters and what happened to them. A very touching movie.
