Awsome! Hayford explains how God does not need our worship, but rather worship is for our benefit, and those benefits are many, mighty, and freely given.

This is the best book on worship I have read so far. Jack Hayford has gained a special understanding of "power of worrhsip" , its levels and depth and need for Christians. Excellent. I have read five other different books on worship and none affected me as much as this one.

Ask most Christians why we worship, they will answer "We worship because He is worthy". True...to a point. But that still puts the focus on us and our behavior. Here, Dr. Hayford illuminates both the definition of, and the reason why we worship. This book will blow the doors off our small understanding of this unspeakable gift God has given us. My spirit cried "Yes, yes, yes!" throughout my journey through these pages.

Everybody can praise the Lord, but you must be in right standing with God to worship. This book will help you you know what hinders worship and how to overcome them so that you can go into worship. Easy reading, too.
