At first glance, this book looks like an ordinary little predictable story. However, I was surprised to find myself glued to each page and hating to put it down until I found out what happened next! The author has a great talent for using descriptive wording and unexpected events to heighten the suspense. You keep being surprised as you go from chapter to chapter! It's a book that's inspiring and challenging as well as being just a lot of fun to read.

When Abby Stanton came to the Island it brings a closeness to her family that she had forgotton about yet longed to have again. The Stanton family are good Christian people that share their love of family and neighbors with all people. It makes me want to visit the island and just drop in and have Sunday dinner after church.
