This is an excellent book for self Bible basics. I have put 5 of these books in the jail for the prisoners to use. I also have given them to their wives to do, so they will be on the same page as their husbands.

This workbook is well written and user friendly. It allows students to look up many Bible passages on their own to answer basic questions regarding who Christ is, our need for a savior, and God's will for our lives. There are some chapters (specifically on being Spirit filled) where Beth's interpretation of scripture is not in accordance with our body's interpretation of scripture. However, we take advantage of the opportunity to teach our people what we believe in regards to this.

I LOVE this book. It has awesome questions that really challenge your faith. If you want to really figure out what you believe and why you believe in Jesus Christ - this is the book for you. Totally NOT churchy.
