I have been looking for this bible at every christian book store since the one I had was stolen from my truck. I really like the background of the main characters and its very pretty.

I enjoy this Bible so much because of the Bible Study and the explanation it gives of bible verses on the sides of the pages. It gives you a better understanding of the verse. Also this bible give encouraging mini inserts through out the bible. Also I like the paper the bible is made of. I like the paper back cover.

I purchased this Bible as a Christmas gift for my sister who has never owned a Bible. I was very disappointed to find her name on the front was almost completely illegible. The cover of the Bible is green & has texture to it. My sister's name was written in a gold, in a very small font. Because of the texture of the cover, the letters are hard to read. Very Disappointing! Also, the pages of this Bible are super-thin & very delicate. I had purchased Bible highlighters for my sister to use, but I'm afraid even with special highlighters made for marking a Bible, it will bleed through the pages. Notes written in pen for sure will be seen on the page following the one it was written on. I will say that I've purchased many products from Christianbook.com and have always been pleased with the quality and value. Unfortuantely, this Bible was not one of them. :(

The only complaint I had about the items was that one of the Study Bibles had the dust cover torn on it. By the time it reached me it was moving around loose in the box. Other than that it was a great price and a very good item.

I am very happy with this Bible. I had been looking for Bibles with notes directed at women. I wanted to hear from others with experience how to be a woman of God. I wanted information from women who used the Bible as their first source, rather than trying to make the Bible fit their own worldly view. The notes in this take scripture and describe how things may have changed with the times, but how many of the tips directed at women contain timeless principles that can be applied in our time to make one a beautiful woman of God. This Bible has practical advice in the side notes that is often directed to wives or mothers (although I have found them helpful and thought-provoking even though I am single and childless). All of the notes are written by women, including the poetry and quotes. I found it encouraging to see just how many ladies struggled with the same issues I face and how many were strong Christians. Even in times when men were usually the only authors, there are pieces of poetry that show women actively seeking God. The pages about women in the Bible make their stories more personal and make the lessons easier to apply to my daily life. I personally like the NIV translation and was excited to find good study notes with it. I would recommend this version to any woman.

I guess I didn't read up on it very well. I am disapointed that Christ's words are not in red. I am disapointed that the bilble is not in the order that I am used to, although I can see that some people might benefit from having the verses together this way. I love the cover and I love the large print. It is a nice bible, just not what I wanted. I'll research better next time

This Bible offers some very nice features for study and the side notes on each page are enlightening and fun to read. This Bible offers variety in its notes - theological tidbits, personal notes from the WOF ladies, verse explanations, etc. I find it an enjoyable Bible to read. I gave it four stars though because I did buy the paperback version and I wished now I had spent a little more for a better quality book. But other than that it is a great relaxing Bible to read.

I bought this as a Bible for my teenage daughter. It has very beautiful pages that appeal to us as females. I especially like that there is a bunch of room for her to make notes on each page. The print size is easy on the eyes, and the pages are high quality paper. She was flattered that I bought her a "womens" Bible and not a "Teen" one. They weren't as nice.

I bought this Bible for myself about 7 years ago. The weekly Bible studies are such an encouragment. And the notes along the sides of the pages are great. I bought this Bible this time for a friend, that she may enjoy it as much as I do. Women of Faith is a great group of women proclaiming God's word and this Bible shares some of their thoughts. I may have to buy more for more friends!

I am very pleased with this bible! I bought it for myself after reaffirming my faith in God and it has led me into a lot of different areas of study that I'm very grateful for. I have gone to the Women of Faith weekends in Philadelphia. My churchs Adult Sunday School class has been using the series of Women of Faith Studies. We are now on our 3rd book. Everyone has been pleased with the books. We have had many discussions on the living in faith with this series. It has given us some what a better way to understand ourself on a daily living of life.

I bought this bible for myself in 2006 and have been delighted with the purchases. I also now buy it for a gift for my women friends. It is a lovely bible with margine explanations of the scripture or a pome or thought. It also has an indepth study of the women of the bible spaced thru out the bible as are the 52 weekly studies which can be as quick or as in dept as you have time for. I would recomend this version to both people who are looking for a first bible or a daily /study bible . \but if you want a STUDY bible I would go for something more on the line of a refferance bible.I would advise to get it in hard cover and with book markers.

This is not just a Bible; it's a woman's Bible from cover to cover. If Christian Book were keeping track of the number of these I have purchased I am sure I would qualify for some discount! I have purchased one for every woman in my family and for several female friends who are just starting their Christian walk. I love the commentaries and profiles written about the women in the Bible; it helped me to better understand just how much God loves women and how blessed we are that He does. I highly recommend this; it's a joy.
