Zondervan The Case for the Resurrection: A First-Century Reporter Investigates the Story of the Cross

The Easter season is a time when millions of people are looking for engaging ways to bring the Easter story to life. Lee Strobel's small but powerful booklet, The Case for the Resurrection, provides new evidence that shines a fresh light on the biblical account of Jesus' resurrection. It includes an excerpt from the book of Luke, an introduction to Luke as a 'first-century investigative reporter,' and a personal story from Lee Strobel. Note: New International Version ® Scripture portions along with study notes and articles are from The Case for Christ Study Bible. Paperback booklet.

I am very disappointed in this book (ebook). It is little more than a reprint of much that is found in Stroebel's other books, particularly "the Case for Christ". There is very little that is 'new'. The second chapter is a reprint of several chapters from Luke with passages from Stroebel's other books sprinkled in.
The only value I see in this book might be for someone who has bot read any of Stroebel's other books. I suspect this book is the product of the publisher wanting to cash in on Easter and the success of Strobel's other books.

Much smaller book than I expected. Much of it is the text of the gospel of Luke.
