This was my first purchase of a NIV bible. It got my attention first with the pictures. They are beautiful, serene and very relaxing - it brought a peacefulness and tranquility, I can see why it was described as a spa green color.
The only thing I wish is that it was King James Version. I had trouble reading in Daniel with the king seeing Jesus in the fire with the 3 Hebrew children and calling him "a son of the gods"(NIV) instead of "the Son of God"(KJV).
Even though it is not KJV, I am still glad I have it in my collection of bibles.
