This edition is black letter on newsprint. (It does not include the usual concordance, study notes, historical background, archaeological notes, or book introductions.) Some cross references are included in parenthesis within the scripture texts. 1170 pages in Paperback from Zondervan. Inexpensive and sturdy, it's ideal for evangelism & outreach distribution.

I love that I can hold this version in my hand, while my KJV is on my desk and I can go back and forth with ease while writing my notes. I also use the AMP at Bible Study on Wednesday nights. The best part of having this version is that anyone in my family can use it to do studies also.

My 16yr old grandson asked for this for his Christmas gift, and was delighted to receive it. We have used this along with NKJV, KJV, and found them Most helpful, in Bible Devotions,. He is seeking to live for his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, at Home, School,and summer camps ministries.Praising God for this.

I love the bible I received; because it looks like a novel people often times pick up and are like "what you reading?". They then go "ohhhh, the bible". I get a kick out of that everytime. Great to bring to work!

Purchasing on line, without actually seeing the product can be a problem. In this case, the Bible is small (hence the small price). Unfortunately, because of the small sized Bible, the print is also very small. So small that it is impossible to read other than for a quick reference.

This bible was a lot thicker than I expected. I guess this was due to the size. Next time I think I will order a bible that has some substance to it, as this one was a paperback. Over all for the price, this bible was a great deal. This would be good for someone who does not use their bible often, but because I am always in mine and I highlight pages, I need something a bit more sturdy.

I love the ease of reading and understanding that the Amplified offers. Also that it is translated from Greek and Hebrew so I know am getting an accurate translation. I put all 3 of my Bibles on the table King James Version and The New Living Version and now the Amplified Version and read and meditate on each verse and chapter and always find myself going back to the Amplified. Thank you for such a great price on this Bible!

the Bibles are great for short term use or occasional use. I bought them for people to use during a Bible study I have in my home. The print is very small, so if you already have trouble reading fine print, you don't want this book. Other than that, they are great to have around for extras.

The text is awesome but the print is a way TOO SMALL. I almost can't read it ! You can become tired very quickly and should buy a Bible with larger print if you do not want to have a headache or eyeaches after 10 minutes reading... Sorry.
