The Mitford stories by Jan Karon are the best and I have loved reading and listening to them over the years. I finally bought the Focus on the Family At Home in Mitford CD's and I'm so glad I did! So enjoyable to listen to as I travel. The actor playing Father Tim is great and the Emma character is a hoot! I would give this 10 stars if I could! Highly recommended!

I love this dramatization of Karon's first Mitford book! Please consider producing more! I find all of her books enjoyable and the radio production brought the characters to life!

Living in Mitford, through this wonderful dramatized audio-book, is like coming home. I connected with each one of the characters, who came to life through convincing and heartfelt acting, music and all the sound effects of our daily lives. It was like moving to a quaint town in the south and getting to know all the people who live there and who become your friends. I looked forward every night to when I'd listen to this book, and now that I am finished, I miss each character, as if I actually had known them. Maybe the author will write a sequel to this book, as I still want to listen to more!

i can play this over and over but i recommend getting complete series. although John McDonogh ? does excellent job truly, full cast is REALLY SPECIAL.

Quaint, clean, comical, poignant and immensely well done. I have always liked Dean Jones and this production was no exception. Enjoyed it to the degree that I am buying additional sets for gifts. Jan Karon hit a home run with this one!
