Tyndale Entertainment Adventures in Odyssey® #5: Daring Deeds, Sinister Schemes
Evil has a name. And it goes by Dr. Regis Blackgaard. He and Philip Glossman have big plans that could put Whit's End out of business. And it looks like the bad guys are winning! Eventually, right overcomes might while kids ages 8 and up learn about making smart choices and having integrity.

I've been listening to adventures in Odyssey Since I was in elementary school, now I am 33 and I still love it. I have my son listening to adventures in Odyssey now At five years old and he loves it as well.

This album does have intense episodes on it, however, they are broken up by lighter hearted stories. What may scare kids the most is how Dr. Regis Blackgaard appears to vanish without trace. In the 2 part Episode of "The Battle" may be too intense for under age kids.
Dr. Blackgaard does come back in other albums.
However, over all it is a very good album and enjoyable.

This is the first first album for Dr. Blackgard. This album is one of my favorites. I here they are making a Blackgard Saga just like the Nova-Com Saga. I will definetly buy it.

My daughter goes to sleep with these every night: she is 11yo. It doesn't matter how many times she's heard them, she just listens again and again. They don't date and help shape her values in the best way!

This was one of my favorite Odyssey CDs. I loved the intrigue and the "lessons learned." For me - this CD seemed to really "flesh out" the character of Connie and I learned to appreciate Eugene.

If you follow the series, this is the one that introduces Dr. Regis Blackgaard and sets up many other later adventures.There is an episode about the crucifixion and resurrection, and that was my reason for buying this cd, and I found it well-told for kids of all ages.I recommend it for the history and continuity and for its family friendly values.
