Considering what entertainment is these days and how graphic it can be, I'd say these are very well done and worth listening to. However, some may say that the writters for Your Story Hour embellished the stories too much or are biased.
I'm listening to them for the first time in almost 19 years, so I really don't remember them.
*** They do improve as you go along ***
I will update this if need be.
*** For me personally, they are exactly what I need - good clean entertainment and better yet a Christian one.

Being a mom and a teacher, one of the greatest things I can share with my children is a love for God and His Word. These CDs really bring the Bible to life and develop a that love and interest. Being a struggling reader, my teen loves them and can't wait til we are able to order the next one... and they inspire him to keep trying to read the Bible on his own.

Our children grew up listening to these stories and they loved them. Now that they are grown, we are buying these albums for their children. They love them just like their dad did.

My four year old and I commute daily, and he without fail asks to hear a Bible story. We have both the first and second volume and recommend them highly. The vocabulary is a little advanced for my son, and he sometimes asks me to pause and explain what's happened, but they definitely keep his interest. I learn from them too. It's an excellent way to hide God's word in little ones' hearts and get them excited about the Bible.
