This audio drama brings to light the story of one of America's early legends — "Squanto." History remembers Tisquantum as the Native American who taught early settlers to fish and farm. He's even credited with the first Thanksgiving. But few hear the story of the condemnation that dragged him outside America to a life in chains and what he discovered after his exile. It's an inspiring true story of this little-known early American that triumphed over injustice and changed what would become the United States.

Our family loves these audio drama books. Especially when we have long car rides, they keep the car quiet. Plus, we are learning a little bit about history!

I use this product along with the book, "Squanto and the Miracle of Thanksgiving" to introduce my ESL (English as a Second Language) learners to the real meaning of Thanksgiving and to the amazing things God can do with what seems to be a horrible injustice.

Your heart will be moved with this touching true story and little known story of Squanto. Well, I'm sure we've all heard of Squanto, but I had no idea the amazing story behind his coming to help the Pilgrims. This story will make you stop and thank God anew for His masterful hand upon Squanto's life and yours as well.

Radio Theatre is our answer to having a DVD player going in the car. Your child's imagination takes hold when you pop on of these into your CD. Just be careful, you'll find yourself just as captivated!

Billed as a children adventure story and the pilgrim story could easily become maudlin. This drama backs up the clock and sets the historical stage with some superb dialogue with Tisquantem (Squanto) has in Spain and in in London. As an adult, I finally know enough history to appreciate this drama CD. Children with like the action, but the adults will come away thinking "Hmmmmmmm" ... and I won't spoil the plot devices. Favorite line? Tisquantem, who by now speaks fluent King's English is taunted in London to talk, thinking he is a savage. His response caught me completely off-guard. And I won't spoil that either. This CD was an unexpected winner.

Wonderful!!! This is the 4th or 5th copy I have purchased as a gift. My son (4th grade) gives them to his friends from public school when invited to b'day parties.
